COPPA Direct Notice to Parents

This notice is regarding your child's participation in Supernow activities and our practices of collecting, using and disclosing personal information from children under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA). This notice supplements Supernow’s privacy policy, available at https://www.supernow.com/legal/privacy-policy (our “Privacy Policy”).

Parental Consent Required

Under COPPA, your consent is required for the collection, use and disclosure of your child’s information. We will not collect, use or disclose any personal information from your child unless you provide your consent.

To set up your child's account, we require that you provide your credit card information and billing address. The Federal Trade Commission has determined that the collection of this information is an acceptable method of obtaining verifiable parental consent under COPPA. By providing this information, you are consenting to our collection, use and disclosure of your child’s information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You, as the parent/guardian, are the primary Supernow account holder. This means that:
  • You are the person primarily responsible for ordering services and paying any fees or other charges made to your Supernow account.
  • You are responsible for deciding whether to share your child’s content with third parties.
  • You are responsible for the active monitoring of your child’s content. Children who are under the age of 13 are expressly prohibited from including any personally identifiable information in any content that they post to our website unless or until their parents or legal guardians give permission. You agree that you will only allow your child to include any personally identifiable information in their content with your consent.

Personal Information We Collect, Use and Disclose to Third Parties

Please see our Privacy Policy. We will not under any circumstances sell, trade, disclose or otherwise transfer to outside parties any of your child’s personal information, subject to the limited disclosures described in our Privacy Policy.

Revoking Your Consent

At any time, you may revoke your consent, refuse to allow us to further use or collect your child's personal information, and/or direct us to delete the information. If you revoke your consent, we will no longer permit your child to participate in Supernow activities, with the exception of any activities that may not require your child's personal information (such as audio or video files). If you choose to delete your child's information, Supernow will not use or retain such information for any purpose except where required by applicable laws or regulations. To revoke your consent or if there are any questions regarding this notice or our Privacy Policy, please contact us at hello@supernow.com.
